Punching/shearing machine integrated with software for autonomous production

Lantek and Euromac have collaborated to develop a sheet metal processing system that merges Euromac’s punching and shearing machine with Lantek’s automation and synchronization software.

The punching/shearing machine, based on Euromac’s XT model, can execute long cuts in a single stroke to help optimize material use and reduce metal waste. The software integration enables fully autonomous production, and a palletization system automatically organizes and sorts cut pieces to help ensure seamless machine operation without manual intervention. This automation streamlines part stacking and classification based on specific orders, reducing manual handling and improving production flow, the company reports.

Automated unloading helps ensure continuous machine operation, even during unattended shifts or overnight production.
